WELCOME TO ILYC
More than 10 years ago, we decided to create our company to promote the exchange of young people from Europe and the United States of America. Today, our horizons have broadened and we receive groups from all over Europe, the USA, the Caribbean Sea and the West Indies.
ILYC’s main functions are:
1. In ILYC, we organize trips and school vacations for students from Europe, America and from all over the world, i.e. New Zealand or the Island of Guadalupe in the Caribbean Sea. These trips are mainly designed for students who study Spanish in their countries and are between 12 and 18 years-old. Trip duration is usually between 5 and 15 days and there is a great diversity of activities in which they can participate: from cultural visits to excursions in the forest, as well as different visits to the more picturesque sites in every city where we organize trips.
In these programs, we cover all of the possibilities offered by a city, leisure time, culture, traditions, customs and excursions to natural (national) parks.. These trips can visit such locations as Granada, its province, other cities in Andalusia such as Cadiz, Seville, Cordoba or Nerja (Malaga), as well as other Spanish cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, or Salamanca, or others that you might propose. More information in Short-term Programs.
2. Currently, we collaborate with several universities from the US and with other schools and colleges from all over the world to receive their students who study Spanish for a month, a semester or the full year thanks to our agreements with the University of Granada and the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville. During these stays, students can study, participate in cultural and sports activities, travel and have an accommodation with ILYC. More information in Study Abroad.
3. Organization of programs in foreign countries for Spanish students is carried out because ILYC is the Kells College programs' local office. Due to these programs, Spanish students can travel all over the world to study different languages.
ILYC’s main functions are:
- Organizing, coordinating and receiving groups from schools, colleges and high schools on tourist/academic trips to Spanish cities.
- Organizing, coordinating and receiving students who are in their last year of high school or the university when they decide to study Spanish in Granada and Seville.
- Organizing and coordinating travels to foreign countries (Ireland, UK, USA, France, Australia...) for Spanish students.

- In all of our destinations, students and groups are accommodated in host families. By doing this, we are helping to obtain one of the fundamental goals of the trip: the immersion of every student in the Spanish culture, language and customs. There is also the possibility to stay in a youth hostel, hostel or hotel, or in a dormitory.
