STUDY ABROAD

Clemson University students are strongly encouraged to spend a semester studying abroad in order to further enrich their Clemson experience. Study Abroad Programs are available for all disciplines and interests. Options include faculty-led programs, programs available through Clemson's partner universities, and programs run by study abroad providers and institutions.

The University Modern Language Center, Centro de Lenguas Modernas, is located in the central district of Granada, called the “Realejo.” The center is housed in the historic palace of Santa Cruz which was built during the 16th century. This historic building has been restored as a state of the art teaching facility. Since its restoration in 1992, the new “Centro de Lenguas Modernas” offers its renowned program, Spanish Course for Foreigners (Spanish Language and Culture), in addition to a variety of Foreign Language Courses.

INTERNSHIP

While studying abroad in Granada, Clemson University students are also able to gain work experiences which is set up and directed by ILYC. These work experiences can be carried out in different public or private companies depending on the interests of the students. If you are interested in these work experiences, please contact ILYC in advance.
