RECEPTION

At the time of the students’ arrival, ILYC offers a reception service in Granada.

Selected host families will pick the students up at a meeting point in the city in order to accompany them and later take them to their home.

The first meetings shall be used to provide students with city maps and other interesting materials for their first few days in Granada, as well as informing the students about all the academic, leisure and cultural activities that will be organized during their stay. ILYC shall also organize the first strolls around the city so that the students will immediately find their way around. The students’ host families will accompany them on their first day to ILYC premises where they will be met to go to the CLM. Students will also be officially received at the CLM.
 

MEETING AND SOCIAL CENTER

ILYC Granada has its own office in the center of Granada and not far from the CLM and the College of Translation and Interpreting. The goal is to ensure that our office will also be the center of care and meeting for all the students.

All information about courses, e-mail, messages and so on will be available at our office. Furthermore, we shall have cultural information about the activities taking place in Granada, at the University, cinemas, travel bargains and everything that you and we may find of interest.

We shall set up a forum for exchange so that our students can easily find Spanish students who wish to exchange conversation and friendship. We will always be on duty through a cellular telephone number for anything that needs to be solved outside office hours. The care is highly personalized and, at the same time, we try to give that friendly touch.
